Since then, the court battle between Dr. Mahtani and the Ventriglias has become talk of the town. While Dr. Rajan Mahtani has contended that the factory has been illegally captured, the Ventriglias have defended themselves by saying that Dr. Mahtani did not pay for the shares he owns at the factory. Since the start of this court battle, both sides have been asked to share evidences, testimonials and other related documents to defend their arguments. Dr. Mahtani and his lawyers have shared numerous documents, including a signed shareholders agreement stating that Dr. Mahtani is the majority shareholder of the factory and an Independent audit report on the factory which clearly states that Dr. Mahtani is the sole joint venture partner of the factory. The Ventriglias, on the other hand, have failed to provide any strong evidence to support their claims over the years.
The inability of the court to provide justice to Dr. Mahtani, even after submitting essential and strong evidences, ignites concern regarding the power of law across the nation, which needs to be strengthened.
